one of the best part of days when katie is home all day is the fact that we just sit together. that is all. we woke up and were out the door for a walk before it got too hot. i think we went extra long today, because i had to start working toward the end. then we came in side, i drank a cool bowl of water and then we just sat around together. i spent the morning looking outside at the birds and the squirrels - no rabbits in the back today. i like it better when she is home for awhile because then i don't have to go in the laundry room.

What would you do if you actually CAUGHT one of the squirrels or rabbits (baby or other variety) that you so longingly observe? Are you planning to keep a pet of your own? Better check with K on that one first, she doesn't have enough time to walk another critter.. nad
